Review: Woman in Black

Another film! Hurray for Orange Wednesdays and half-term!
 So, Woman in Black. It's a 12A.
Yes, those of you who are deaf and have read the book, you heard me right (or maybe you didn't, since you're deaf). It's a 12A.

Review: Man on a Ledge

Yes, I'm reviewing a film. Get over it.
Okay, so the first thing I thought when someone said 'we're going to see Man on a Ledge' was, well, damn. I expected it to be another one of those lame, not-so-action-packed Hollywood films that are actually only worth the money you paid for the popcorn (mmm, popcorn), but I was wrong.

Not wanting to read the many books hanging around on your Kindle?

Who are you and what have you done with me?!

Arg. I am afraid, my lovely, mindless amigos. I am very afraid. A gazillion times in the past week, I have tried to decide on a Kindle book to read (between Chris Priestley, Celia Rees, some bloke and a book that rings mild, kinda worrying bells, Bram Stoker, and who knows what the Hell else) and I have picked absolutely zilch to read. Yet I'm OK with paperbacks -- I've read Reckoning (Strange Angels). Total let down. I've read 13 to Life book 3. Nice. Not as much seemed to happen as in the last two, but hey.
What's going on with me, unmindless amigos? Is it the ridiculously weird choice of books? The lack of good paranormals with sexy boys? Or is it the Kindle that's the problem? I sure do hope not.

Well, you know, whatever. Hopefully I'll sort it out. But for now, I'll focus on my second draft of Wings and a Prayer and the third series of Being Human (yay!). If you have any suggestions to get me out of my bizarre funk, comment away.
Otherwise, crazy, slightly worried, avid reader out!

PS, don't worry. When I get back on the horse, so to speak, my blog posts will (hopefully) get better.
                                                                            Love you!

Choosing Series Names and Getting High...

Can all happen at the same time! My friends, you should've seen me last night.
'What can I call Book 4 of the Wings and a Prayer books?' I thought to myself, quickly pausing YM@6 for a proper brainstorming session.
I got zilch. Nowt. Nothing. Nada.
So then I thought, 'didn't I give it a name in my planning notebook?' Turns out I didn't.
Thankfully, I got distracted by my Series Name Brainstorm on the next page over. It was all a load of rubbish, but it got me thinking.
And suddenly, I found the name for my series in a shocking flash of inspiration similar to the flash that came with thinking of the name for the first book.
So, that first book is now called
Wings and a Prayer, Book 1 of the Finding Grace series (Small World Collection)
Yay! Bit of a mouthful, but yay! (Not like you have to say absolutely all of that anyway) Yay!
Writer of much more exciting things than what her blog posts contain out!

I wish I was a punk rocker...

I do. I really do.
However, that's not what I'm here for. I'm here to protest the lack of good Christmas stories, my friends. I mean, a flying unicorn? Sherlock jumping off a -- oh, that's something else...
You people make me sad. Thankfully, I've finished my science exams, yay, so now I'm free for writing, reviewing, and blogging.
I can see you weeping tears of joy. Stop that. I will eat that unicorn you wrote about.
You know who you are.
Tired, slightly crazy chick out. Peace, love, and sustainably sourced books!
